My name is Marco and for more than a decade I deal with tourism and ferry services as commercial Manager of certain activities.
I think your post is a little’ superficial, because the offers so much praised disappear during the booking process or are not available, However, at a cost coming from 400 to more than 500 € for a/r so very Spartan (without cab etc etc.).
E’ a shame. Much better to go abroad where the services are higher and have a reasonable cost.
Massimiliano Gentile,
first of all thanks for writing. I must point out that the post dates back to April when the current situation of ferries to Sardinia had not yet broken out.
Apart from this I would say that trying and comparing are still discounted rates: It is logical, We should settle for hours and days that maybe we wouldn't have chosen, but the jobs on offer there were, they were numerous and in many they booked their ferry for Sardinia.
The fact of going abroad I must unfortunately give reason, but this is a much broader problem and not only concerns ferries.
A dear greeting. Mark
